Sonia
Sonia Pressman Fuentes was born in Berlin, Germany, of Polish parents, with whom she came to the US to escape the Holocaust.
In ths country, she became one of the founders of the second wave of the women's movement (co-founder of NOW and other national women's rights organizations), a writer, public speaker, and attorney. She is the author of a memoir, written wih humor, called Eat First--You Don't Know What They'll Give You, The Adventures of an Immigrant Family and Their Feminist Daughter. |
