Good conversation can create good energy and good health if done properly. Bad conversation will waste energy, bringing a reversed effect on our body's health. For example, fighting with our spouse leaves us feeling drained and sick inside, frustrated and angry resulting in saying things we really don't mean. But a successful business meeting or an enjoyable dinner out with a best friend leaves us feeling at the top of the world with some heartfelt and creative ideas coming forth. Speaking is important, an art in itself which allows us to reach perfection through its control and usage when attempting to reach out to others.

Speech and sound are considered forms of creative energy—affected by motive, sincerity, purity, accuracy, and the correct level of consciousness it originates from. We have been given free will and free choice to weigh carefully every word coming out of our mouths  - with the most advanced person having the ability to do the greatest damage with their words and speech. As we attempt to move into a specific direction with our thoughts, we use words carefully to make our thoughts known to those we are speaking to or attempting to communicate with.

Every word spoken can have the ability to be either destructive or constructive, depending on how it is used or the discipline behind it. Exceptions are loose statements which have no meaning and are considered empty. Always think before you speak, and speak only when it is necessary - otherwise, it is a waste of time. The highest grade of speaker offers hope to whom they are speaking to, and offer a sense of future they look forward to instead of spilling out empty words or feelings of negativity. In one twenty-four hour day, try to remain silent for one hour. Learn to discriminate what is coming out of your mouth, learning to discern what is constructive or negative toward others. Consequences of incorrect speaking are maliciousness, slander, hypnotized mannerism, mechanical actions, and fabricated speaking filled with lies and untruths. They cause damage to not only them self but are disastrous to others.

Malicious and slanderous speech is harmful and destructive, requiring the usage of mental exercises and controlling speech to overcome such negative things. Once the speech begins to become controlled, one will develop the ability to avoid certain types of negative speech. In today's times, the majority of people let their vocal tape records run uncontrollably without thinking with most of based on negativity. What they do not realize is that it is more powerful and rolls off the tongue quicker, having a worse effect on our world.

The power of negative speech is beyond words, as it enters the thoughts of those around us, causing them to also become negative. Every word that leaves our lips has the power to spread good or bad, yet words flow by the thousands either through thoughts or verbal statements with little regard to their consequences. The business of speech is not just about selling something to someone, or getting them to agree with you. Think about what effect they will have on the people around you that you know or not know, people you see and people beyond your vision. This is how the world has come to the shape it is in now. Anything said or thought with negativity---fear, hatred, anger, defeat, hopelessness, viciousness—has a bad influence on our own life. What leaves our lips will come back home to roost sooner than we can ever realize. Yet when it does, we blame others around us instead of looking within as the original cause. Our parents and grandparents always told us, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." How true those words were.+
